About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and engaging Health & Safety Instructor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who believes that effective training goes beyond slides and theory—focusing instead on practical, hands-on learning experiences that truly change behaviours and improve safety outcomes.
They will design and deliver dynamic, interactive training sessions, empowering learners with real-world skills and fostering a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Health & Safety training programmes using a hands-on, practical approach
- Facilitate learning through interactive workshops, simulations, and real-life scenarios
- Encourage active participation via discussions, problem-solving, and group activities
- Design, develop, and deliver a variety of health and safety training courses aligned with business operations
- Conduct training sessions at our state-of-the-art academy and across the branch network
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure training remains relevant, practical, and impactful
- Promote a positive safety culture through engaging, relatable, and memorable training methods

About You
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience delivering health & safety-related training or instruction
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and diverse learning styles
- Ability to engage, motivate, and involve diverse audiences in training
- Preference for hands-on teaching methods over traditional classroom-based models
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- A dynamic, passionate approach to training with a focus on inspiring behavioural change
- Experience using training technologies and software
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Experience delivering driver-related training in the commercial vehicle sector
- Relevant health & safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, NVQ or equivalent)
- Training or instructional qualifications
