Location: Hybrid / Field Based
Salary: From £45,000 plus an excellent benefits package, including:

We are seeking a passionate and engaging Health & Safety Instructor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who believes that effective training goes beyond slides and theory, focusing instead on practical, hands-on learning experiences that truly change behaviours and improve safety outcomes.
You will:
- Deliver engaging Health & Safety training programmes using a hands-on, practical approach
- Facilitate learning through interactive workshops, simulations, and real-world scenarios
- Encourage active participation via discussions, problem-solving, and group activities
- Design, develop, and deliver a wide range of health and safety training courses in line with the key risk exposures faced by our business operations
- Deliver training courses at our new state-of-the-art training academy and across the branch network
- Collaborate with operational teams and stakeholders to ensure training remains relevant, practical, and aligned with business needs
- Promote a positive safety culture by making training engaging, relatable, and memorable

About You:
- Proven experience delivering health & safety related training or instruction
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and different learning styles
- Natural ability to engage, motivate, and involve people
- Experience using practical, hands-on teaching methods (not purely classroom-based approaches)
- Excellence in communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills—with the ability to connect with diverse audiences
- A dynamic and enthusiastic approach to training, fueled by a genuine passion for inspiring others
- Proficiency in using training technologies and software
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Great Britain
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience delivering driver-related training within the commercial vehicle sector
- Relevant health & safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Training or instructional qualifications
