Working hours: This role is available on a part-time, job-share or full-time basis
Salary: Up to £50,000-£60,000 depending on experience + fully maintained company car + allowances + benefits
Location: Home-based, South-East England (with client travel)

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Risk Consultant to join our Casualty Practice, working at the forefront of employers’ liability and public liability risk management.
This is a high-impact consulting role supporting complex, multi-site and high-hazard organisations across a broad range of sectors. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders, brokers, underwriters and claims colleagues, helping customers reduce loss, improve safety performance and strengthen their overall risk profile.
You will enjoy a high level of autonomy, a varied and intellectually engaging portfolio, and the backing of a well-established, respected insurance risk consulting team.

What Will You Be Doing
- Deliver professional Health & Safety and liability risk consultancy.
- Conduct liability-focused assessments, inspections and management system reviews.
- Evaluate controls and governance for EL/PL exposures and provide practical recommendations.
- Produce high-quality written reports for clients, brokers and underwriters.
- Interpret emerging liability risks, legislation and industry trends.
- Support clients with ISO 45001 implementation and continuous improvement.
- Build trusted relationships with customers, brokers and internal teams to embed positive, sustainable risk culture.
- Represent the business at events and share technical insights internally.

What Are We Looking For
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) with strong practical experience; professional membership (e.g. CMIOSH, CIRM) preferred.
- Experience in Health & Safety or Liability Risk Consulting within insurance or large/multi-site environments.
- Strong understanding of EL/PL risks, legislation and risk management systems.
- Sector experience in construction, manufacturing, logistics, public sector or infrastructure is beneficial.

- Analytical, curious and able to identify root causes and systemic issues.
