Health and Safety Officer
About the Role
The Guinness Partnership is looking to recruit a Health and Safety Officer to join a busy, thriving team covering the South Coast, Havant and surrounding areas, on a full-time permanent basis.
The successful candidate will need to be based within 50 miles of Havant to be able to travel to all required locations in a timely manner.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety Officer to provide expert guidance and support across the business. You will conduct audits, incident management, inspections, support management teams in promoting a positive safety culture, and advise on risks to employees, residents, supply chain partners, and the public.

Essential Skills
- Knowledge of current health and safety legislation, regulations and industry codes of practice.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering training.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Good report writing skills.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good influencing skills.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Able to demonstrate Guinness behaviours.

Essential Qualifications
- NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or equivalent.
- Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Additional Information
This position will require a basic DBS check, which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership.
