9-month Fixed-Term Contract, Full-time (With flexibility for part-time)

Location: Flexible across the Anglian Water Region

Anglian Water embraces a flexible working approach. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working, with an average of 3 days per week being onsite across the Anglian Water region.

Join the UK’s largest water company!

At Anglian Water we are readying ourselves to begin delivery of our biggest ever capital and operational maintenance programmes in AMP8. Across our region we’ll see population growth of around 700,000 people and more demand than ever before from businesses. We’re proud to play a key role in enabling this growth while keeping safety at the heart of what we do.

As part of this journey, we are looking for a Health & Safety Procedure Review Lead to support the evolution of our safety management system.

In this role, you will lead a comprehensive review and refresh of our safety management procedures, ensuring they are clear, practical, and aligned to legal requirements. You’ll play a key role in simplifying complex content and ensuring our people understand exactly what they must do to work safely. You’ll also work closely with the Safer Every Day Programme and wider stakeholders to consult on, communicate, and embed these improvements across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and simplifying health & safety procedures to ensure clarity, consistency, and legal compliance
  • Creating a prioritised plan to update procedures, focusing on higher-risk areas first
  • Ensuring procedures clearly define responsibilities, mandatory requirements, and scope
  • Removing duplication, unnecessary detail, and overly complex language
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure procedures reflect real ways of working
  • Leading consultation activities, including presenting proposed changes and gathering feedback
  • Supporting the development and delivery of communication plans for updated procedures
  • Owning the update and finalisation of procedures following consultation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
