About the Role
ASP Energy Networks is seeking a Health and Safety Support Coordinator to play a critical role in ensuring the safe and compliant delivery of multiple multi-million-pound energy construction projects.
The Health & Safety Support Coordinator will provide key administrative and co-ordination support to the H&S Consultant, Seniors and Advisors, ensuring the delivery of professional advice to Project Teams. This includes proactive monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on performance, maintaining strong client interfaces, and embedding operational excellence, legal compliance, and safe working practices.
The successful candidate will support the SPT Projects Health and Safety Team in ensuring the successful integration of departmental and Group Health and Safety policies, programs, and processes.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
- Create, maintain, and develop H&S databases such as Power BI
- Support performance evaluation through Health and Safety monitoring and data management (e.g., inspections, incidents, and KPIs)
- Contribute to and deliver Health and Safety initiatives, projects, and deliverables
- Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders to enhance Health and Safety performance
- Prepare and distribute monthly reports (data collection and analysis)
- Develop Contractor reports for broader business dissemination
- Facilitate best-practice exchanges across the business, including leading workshops and meetings
- Assist with Health and Safety policy development, promotion, and review
- Organise and manages meetings, record-taking, and action tracking
- Support Health and Safety KPI management for governance and assurance
- Continue internal and external benchmarking to innovate safety performance (incl. latest processes and technologies)
- Prepare business-wide communications on H&S matters (incidents, investigations)
- Maintain project trackers ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Deliver H&S communications as required
- Proactively participate in site etc., including shadowing H&S Consultants and Advisors for career progression

What You’ll Bring
We are looking for an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with the following skills and attributes:
- Strong IT, co-ordination, organisation, and administrative aptitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with high autonomy and accountability
- Strong sensibility around information analysis and presentation
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Advanced proficient users preferred)
- Familiarity with digital dashboards (Power BI preferred) and tools such as Power Automate and SafetyCulture for performance reporting
