Your mission
- Conduct wellness screenings on site with clients.
- Collect blood samples.
- Measure blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, waist circumference.
- For Surveillance, audiometry, spirometry, VDU, etc.
- Set up and take down of pop-up screening clinic at client site.
- Ensure screening equipment is cleaned and maintained.
- Ensure medical waste is stored and disposed of appropriately.
- Provide general advice on healthy living practices where required.
- Use Medmark’s software system to record accurate records of client assessments.
Rate of Pay: €190/day Working hours: 22.5 hours per week
Your profile
- Appropriate qualifications in nursing, phlebotomy and/or health surveillance. Any similar experience is desirable.
- Proven experience with phlebotomy.
- Appropriate qualifications for administering vaccinations are not essential but desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal, empathy and listening skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills including time management with proven track record of prioritizing key tasks and delivery to a high professional standard.
- Strong team member with proven ability to establish and maintain effective working people relationships.
- Access to own transport is essential.
- Garda vetted.
- Flexibility to work at client sites nationwide.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good IT skills and experience with electronic health records.
