Role Title: Health & Social Care Personal Development Manager (Assessor)
(Informally referred to as the ‘Personal Development Manager’ to reflect their pivotal role in guiding learner journeys)
T2 group offers positions for Qualified and Trainee Personal Development (Health & Social Care) Managers (Assessors).
Level 5: £30,000 basic salary + bonus opportunity (OTE £42,000) (For qualified assessors with experience)
Level 3: £27,000 basic salary + bonus opportunity (OTE £39,000) (For trainee assessors, who will receive support through our Training Academy to qualify)
If you have at least two years of experience in the Health & Social Care sector and wish to develop an assessment career, this role could align perfectly.
Key Responsibilities
As a Personal Development Manager (Assessor), you will:
- Develop strong relationships with learners and employers via monthly performance reviews, ensuring sustained engagement.
- Lead high-quality teaching, mentor learners, and deliver step-by-step conceptual development, adhering to Ofsted and Awarding Organisation standards.
- Assess learners’ progress via regular evidence review, streamlining their path to completion.
- Conduct workplace observations to evaluate competence and effective learning.
- Provide personalised guidance to help learners achieve Functional Skills Maths and English.
- Prepare and assist learners in Equality Point Assessment (EPA), fostering success.
- Promote and safeguard learner well-being, ensuring a supportive learning environment while adhering to safeguarding policies.
- Identify and protect learners from risks, reporting safeguarding concerns (covering learners, staff, vulnerable adults, and children).

Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in adult health/social care, including expertise in Dementia and Learning Disabilities, in Senior Carer (or equivalent) roles.
- Health & Social Care qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Prior experience in work-based learning or education settings with an Assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, A1, or equivalent).
- Desirably holding a teaching qualification (Level 3 or higher) (not mandatory but beneficial).
- Strong English and Maths skills (GCSE grade C or above, or equivalent).
- Ability to work under high-pressure conditions, effectively meeting targets and deadlines.
- Highly self-motivated and disciplined, demonstrating excellent time management.
- Exceptional communication skills, ensuring strong relationships with learners and employers.
Additional Considerations:
- Must own transport, a broadband connection, and business-use car insurance (all relevant expenses covered by the company).

- Satisfactory enhanced DBS check and references are mandatory for this position.
