Health Visitor
Job Opportunity: Health Visitor
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Health Visitor with current practice experience to work on a full-time, permanent basis within the Health Visiting team based at Falkirk Central, Falkirk Community Hospital, NHS Forth Valley.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be a key member of the Health Visiting team, working with a varied client population including children and families with additional and complex needs. The post covers the Falkirk area and contributes to the delivery of the Universal Health Visiting Pathway.
Responsibilities
- Caseload Management: Experience in managing caseloads is required.
- Child Protection and Safeguarding: Knowledge and experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Working with Families: Experience working with families presenting with complex needs.
- Health Improvement Interventions: Ability to deliver health improvement interventions.
- Communication and Organisational Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery.
- Must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
Additional Information
- Working Hours: As from 1/4/26, the full-time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week, with a corresponding increase in the hourly rate.
- Sponsorship: Applicants who require sponsorship to work in the UK should review the eligibility criteria for the Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa routes. Sponsorship is not guaranteed and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
