About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised individual with a positive attitude to work on our Acute Stroke Unit in Ward 7 and Gastroenterology Ward 22. We are looking to recruit someone who is compassionate, caring, maintains high standards of care, upholds trust values, shows effective communication skills, protects privacy and dignity, and provides individualized care.
Please note that this post is subject to an initial probationary period of six months, extendable up to a period of 12 months. A DBS check may be required for new employees. MKUH promotes an inclusive workforce and proactively welcomes applications from underrepresented groups in our community.

Salary
Band 3 salary will be dependent on having an NHS Care certificate. If you do not have this, you will start at Band 2 and be supported within the first 6 months to achieve it; once achieved, you will move to Band 3.

Under the supervision of Registered staff, the role of the Senior Healthcare Assistant is to undertake delegated clinical care duties, assist the nursing team, and support Healthcare Assistants in the delivery of safe, effective care to the patient.
