Care Assistant – Community Care Roles – Lewisham Area

About the Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be traveling door-to-door providing personal care, building meaningful relationships with clients, and making a genuine impact in the community. This role offers great job satisfaction while allowing you to work flexibly in the local area.
accepting full rounds and part-time hours across a variety of regular clients and neighbourhoods.
Geographic Scope
- Covered Areas: SW8 & SW11 (Battersea, Wandsworth, Nine Elms, Clapham Junction, Clapham Common)
- Location Requirement: Applicants must live within a 30-minute commute to Battersea.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care, including:
- Bathing, showering, and hygiene
- Toileting support
- Help with dressing, undressing, and activities of daily living
- Performing light housekeeping (domestic tasks to maintain a safe living environment)
- Clinical Monitoring:
- Observing, documenting, and communicating changes in client health or conditions
- Recording visits as required for care planning

Role Requirements & Qualifications

Essential Traits & Skills:
- Caring, reliable, patient, compassionate, and resilient
- Ability to adapt to clients’ routines and needs when supporting them at home
- Willingness to work every other weekend (including alternate Saturdays/Sundays)

- Authorised to work lawfully in the UK (No sponsorship available)
Available Working Hours & Shifts
Mandatory Shift Variations
All Care Assistants will need to rotate through the following schedules:
✔ Morning Shift: 07:00 AM – 2:00 PM ✔ Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Part-Time Roles
- All weekend commitments include both:
- Saturday shifts
- Sunday shifts
