Location: The Prince of Wales Hospice, WF8 4BG
Salary: Starting salary £24,851 per annum (FTE)
Hours: 36 hours per week (rota shifts including evenings/weekends)

Our 14-bed inpatient unit, located just minutes from Junction 32 of the M62 in Pontefract, also offers outpatient and community services, including a successful Lymphoedema clinic.

Your Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will:
- Support patients with personal care and day-to-day activities
- Work under the supervision of Registered Nurses
- Assist with clinical tasks appropriate to your level of training
- Support to patients, their families and your colleagues within the clinical environment
- Help us deliver truly holistic care - meeting medical, emotional, social and spiritual needs
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is:
- Compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic
- A good communicator and team player
- Eager to learn and develop their skills in palliative care
- NVQ Level 2 in a care related subject (or equivalent such as the Care Certificate and experience in end-of-life care) qualified
- NVQ Level 3 in a care related subject qualified (desirable)
