Job Summary
Salary: £29,304.11 - £31,097.76 (Depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 per week
Location: 33 Grosvenor Place, London
Contract: Full-time, permanent position
Cleveland Clinic London is looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to join our Acute Admissions Unit Team, with a salary up to £31,097.76 depending on experience. This is a Monday-Sunday, Days, Nights, and Weekends role with the following shift patterns:
- 6-week rota of 19 shifts
- 08:00 – 20:30
- 20:00 – 08:30

In the Acute Admissions Unit (AAU), we care for patients experiencing acute medical or surgical conditions. Our skilled nursing team works collaboratively to identify patient needs and plan effective interventions. Our goal is to provide patients with a smooth journey to recovery and a positive patient experience.
What Will Your Duties Include?
- Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of trained nursing caregivers.
- Notify nursing caregivers of changes/concerns in patients’ condition.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, privacy, and dignity at all times.
- Assist the nursing team and the materials team with re-stocking the Ward.
- Be aware of the general needs of patients during transportation and also the special needs of major cases, and when collecting and setting beds/trolleys for pain intervention list.
What We Need From You
- Experience working in an AAU setting.
- Care Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Care & Social Care
- BLS provider course completed and qualification required upon hire, or within 3 months of hire.
- Track record of achievement of objectives in present and past jobs in the clinical field.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
