Assists elderly, recovering, or disabled clients with the activities of daily living.
Offers support and companionship to clients. Helps clients handle day-to-day self-care, such as toileting and hygiene. Communicates with families of clients to apprise them of the client's condition and progress. Advises clients and families on nutrition, hygiene, household activities, and other appropriate areas.
Duties Include
- Cooking meals.
- Personal care.
- Light housework.
- Administering / prompting for medication.
- Providing emotional support.
- Documentations and record keeping
- Supervision of medication
- Support our clients to live as independent as can be tolerated
- Follow the care plan
- Personal care – assisting / prompting with daily needs.
- Companionship – offering emotional support, keeping one another company
- Light house chores – helping with cleaning, laundry, meals preparation.

Person Requirements
- Caring and compassionate.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Self-motivated and flexible.
- Ability to provide emotional and social support whilst promoting dignity and respect.
- Excellent communication skills. Good standard of written and verbal English.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
- Passionate about providing a high standard of care and making a difference.
- QCF units in health and social care or equivalent - (an opportunity to undertake this if desired).
