Permanent Healthcare Assistant (End-of-Life Care) – Cwm Taf Morgannwg

Company Description

Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end-of-life charity. We are the largest non-NHS provider of end-of-life care in the UK, serving Britain in all four nations. Our services include community nursing, hospice care, information, and support on dying, death, and bereavement. Through research and advocacy, we champion a future where everyone receives the best possible quality of life while living with terminal illness.

Despite our valuable work, we currently reach only 10% of dying people in the UK. When one in four with a terminal illness doesn’t receive the care they deserve, it’s time for change.

Our five-year mission focuses on closing this gap through:

  • Growing and transforming our direct care and support
  • Providing practical information and support
  • Leading the way in shaping the end-of-life experience

Job Description

  • Symptom control and end-of-life care
  • Respite and hospital discharge support
  • Developing urgent response capacities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
