About The Role
Severn Angels Healthcare is currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to support NHS hospitals and care settings across multiple locations. This is a flexible agency role, offering you the opportunity to choose shifts that suit your availability while gaining experience across a range of healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting patients with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Assisting with mobility and safe moving & handling
- Monitoring and recording patient observations (e.g. temperature, pulse, respiration)
- Supporting patients with eating and drinking
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Maintaining a clean and safe care environment
- Working alongside nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
- Following care plans and reporting any concerns to senior staff

Requirements
- Minimum 6 months UK healthcare experience (NHS or care home setting preferred)
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach
