Healthcare Assistant – Preventative Care

Mission

Neko is redefining what prevention means, shifting from treating illness after it arrives to sustaining health before it even risks emerging. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear.

In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. We operate in 10x, not percentages—because every role, from frontline to strategic, contributes to a world where prevention becomes the norm. Here, your work doesn’t just help—it genuinely extends lives and enhances wellbeing.

Role Purpose

As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be the vanguard of Neko’s mission. As our members’ first point of contact, you’ll bring warmth, professionalism, and a service-minded approach to every interaction. Thriving in a people-centred environment, you’ll collaborate alongside skilled clinical operators, doctors, and technicians, while also taking ownership and initiative—whether acting as a team player or driving independent quality.

Your role is essential. Trusted with high-touch member experiences and precision clinical tasks, you’ll maintain Neko’s fortitude for excellence and its unwavering commitment to prevention.

What You’ll Do (First 6–12 Months)

As a cornerstone of our clinical workflows, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing clinical examinations (thorough, accurate assessments)
  • Conducting and interpreting ECGs (electrocardiograms)
  • Measuring grip strength, intraocular pressure (eye test), and vitals
  • Taking and analysing blood samples (phlebotomy and point-of-care diagnostics)
  • Managing administrative documentation (ensuring precision and compliance)
  • Ensuring smooth operational flow while upholding performance and safety standards
  • Empowering members with clear communications around results and next steps

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
