About Stivic Care Services

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Assistants to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will support individuals with their daily activities, allowing them to maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their homes. Prior experience in care is desirable but not necessary. We value positive attitude, empathy, and willingness to learn.

Job Location

Mid Essex (Applicants will work in Mid Essex and environs)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.
  • Support clients with medication administration in line with their care plans.
  • Perform light household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship, enhancing the well-being of clients.
  • Help clients with mobility and other daily activities, promoting independence.
  • Accurately maintain client records and report any changes in health conditions to the care coordinator.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the safety of both service users and yourself.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Previous experience in care (desirable but not essential). Full training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, manual handling, and medication administration (preferred).
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (desirable but not essential).

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle (essential).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Successful completion of Enhanced DBS Check (paid for by the company).
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
