Position: Healthcare Assistant (Outpatients)
Description

- You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver adult health services, focussing on inpatient and outpatient services to deliver the highest standard of hospital care, surpassing patient expectations
- You will use your experience of Care delivery to undertake delegated nursing tasks within agreed parameters, set by Heads of Departments
- You will work within clinical competencies pertinent to the area of speciality and in accordance within HMT’s policies and procedures and values
- You will have the ability to organise and prioritise own work load under supervision of a Registered Nurse with effective time management skills

Sancta Maria Hospital offers treatment across all major medical specialties and care at every step of the process, from initial consultations, assessments and diagnostic tests to treatment, rehabilitations and post-operative care.
HMT Sancta Maria, along with their sister hospital HMT ST Hugh's in Grimsby, has a mission to provide safe, high quality care in order to improve the health, wellbeing and independence of their patients. Part of the Healthcare Management Trust, HMT St Hugh's is a non-profit organisation using their surpluses to fund medical research, educational grants and dementia charities

Qualifications
- The post holder will have qualifications and credit Framework (QCF) www.accreditedqualifications.org.uk/qualifications-and-credit-framework-qcf.html or equivalent Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 2 equivalent to GCSE Maths and English
- The post holder will have experience of care delivery including basic nursing care, basic wound care, bladder/ bowel care, Moving and handling, skin and nutritional assessments, infection prevention control, and safeguarding awareness
