Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Renal Unit at Hollinswood House for a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic Nursing Team.
The Renal Unit is a busy outpatient area for patients with kidney failure. Patients come in for treatment at least three times a week for 4 hours treatment on a dialysis machine.
We are looking for people who are caring and compassionate and who have strong communication and observation skills, to deliver excellent patient-focused care in a challenging fast-paced environment.
Main duties of the job
- Assist staff in the preparation of the dialysis areas and in the disposal of dialysis consumables and waste.
- Stocking up the unit on a daily basis.
- Working in a stimulating and supportive working environment with opportunities for further learning and development.
