Job Title: Healthcare Assistant (Theatre)

Location: Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Salary: Up to £26,000.00 per annum, dependent on experience

About the Role

As a Healthcare Assistant in Theatre at Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital, you’ll thrive in an environment that evolves rapidly while offering enriched patient care.

Responsibilities

Your role will include:

  • Creating positive patient experiences during both major and minor surgeries
  • Taking the time to care for patients as individuals, understanding their unique needs
  • Supporting the theatre team in a fast-paced environment, including:
    • Assisting with patient transfers
    • Theatre preparation tasks
    • Offering family reassurance
    • Handling administrative duties
  • Working flexibly to ensure seamless team support

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care qualification
  • Experience in an acute hospital or care environment
  • A can-do attitude alongside genuine healthcare passion
  • Strong ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes setting
