Healthcare Assistant

About SAVA

All the health information we need is within us. Just below the skin. SAVA is redefining the way people interact with their health by developing the most advanced biosensing technology science has to offer, capable of accessing bodily information in a painless, real-time and affordable way.

The Role

We are conducting a product testing study in Central London and are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support its delivery. This is a fixed-term, on-site position for approximately two months, with an immediate start. The Healthcare Assistant will support the daily running of the study by taking capillary blood glucose readings and assisting participants throughout each testing day. Full training on the study procedures will be provided by SAVA staff. The role does not involve administering treatment or medication, or making any medical decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • Take capillary blood glucose readings (fingerpricks) from participants using a commercial blood glucose monitor, applying clean and safe technique
  • Support and monitor a group of 5–8 healthy adult participants who remain on site for the full testing day
  • Follow the study protocol accurately, ensuring correct timing and consistency of readings
  • Record readings and observations clearly and accurately
  • Maintain a clean, safe testing environment and follow correct hygiene and sharps-handling procedures
  • Report any concerns or unusual observations promptly to SAVA staff

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
