Health Care Assistant – Full & Part-Time Right at Home is one of Ireland’s leading and award-winning home care providers. Pay, Benefits & Recognition Pay rates ranging from €14.15 – €17.00 per hour Flexible working arrangements Paid induction and mandatory training Ongoing personal and professional development opportunities Employee recognition through regional and national awards Refer a Friend incentive scheme Qualifications & Training Requirements Minimum of two QQI Level 5 modules: Care Skills Care of the Older Person Valid Patient Moving & Handling certificate (training available if required) International Police Clearance, where applicable Essential Competencies Demonstrates compassion, patience, and empathy Dependable and attentive, with a strong commitment to high-quality care Effective communication skills with clients and internal teams Ability to work independently and adhere to company policies and safety standards Previous care experience is desirable Job Responsibilities Providing personal and practical care in accordance with individual care plans Supporting client independence and social engagement Maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect at all times Reporting concerns, incidents, or changes in condition to management in line with company procedures Right at Home is an equal opportunities employer.
