As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a confident, proactive and engaging Healthcare Engagement & Content Executive to join our team.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity combining healthcare engagement, relationship building, research, content creation, interviewing, digital presenting and live events.
- You will become a key connection between Knowlex and the healthcare community, engaging directly with speakers, delegates, NHS professionals, hospitals and industry experts to understand the challenges, innovations and priorities shaping the sector.
- Your conversations will help influence future conferences, webinars, interviews and educational content by identifying what healthcare professionals are working on, what challenges they face and the topics that matter most.
This role would suit someone from a journalism, media, communications, events, research or engagement background — or someone with excellent communication skills and the ambition to develop within this area.
Key Responsibilities
Healthcare Professional & Delegate Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals attending Knowlex conferences, webinars and events.
- Speak regularly with NHS teams, hospitals, healthcare organisations and delegates.
- Understand current challenges, projects, innovations and priorities within healthcare.
- Conduct research conversations to identify emerging trends and important discussion topics.
- Gather insights from healthcare professionals to help shape future conferences, webinars and educational programmes.
- Identify opportunities through conversations that may support future events, partnerships and wider Knowlex activities.

Speaker Engagement & Content Development
- Identify, approach and build relationships with healthcare speakers, contributors and industry experts.
- Engage with professionals across healthcare to develop meaningful conversations and content.
- Work with speakers to develop session topics, interviews and discussions.
- Conduct professional interviews with healthcare experts for blogs, articles, videos and digital content.
- Research healthcare developments and identify opportunities for new events and educational resources.
Webinar Hosting & Digital Content
- Host and present live webinars.
- Introduce speakers and facilitate online discussions.
- Conduct video interviews with healthcare professionals and industry specialists.
- Be comfortable speaking on camera and representing Knowlex across digital platforms.
- Support the creation of blogs, articles, interviews, videos and thought leadership content.
- Develop engaging conversations that showcase innovation and expertise within healthcare.
Conference Support
- Support the development of conference programmes and agendas.
- Attend Knowlex conferences and engage directly with speakers, delegates and partners.
- Conduct interviews and capture insights from attendees.
- Gather feedback and identify future opportunities.
- Work alongside internal teams including events, marketing, commercial and operations.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- A confident communicator who enjoys speaking with people and building relationships.
- Comfortable speaking on camera, hosting online discussions, presenting webinars and engaging with audiences through digital platforms.
- Able to confidently engage with professionals, senior leaders and industry experts.
- Naturally curious and interested in learning about healthcare, innovation and industry developments.
- Commercially aware with the ability to recognise opportunities through conversations and relationships.
- Able to ask insightful questions and create engaging conversations.
- Interested in interviewing people and understanding their stories, challenges and achievements.
- Creative with ideas for content, discussions and new ways to engage audiences.
- Comfortable representing an organisation professionally online and at live events.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects.
- Interested in healthcare, education and making a positive impact.

Experience That Would Be Beneficial
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Journalism, interviewing, broadcasting or media.
- Healthcare communications or engagement.
- Events or conference production.
- Podcasting, video content creation or presenting.
- Marketing, PR or communications.
- Research-based roles.
- Community or stakeholder engagement.
Previous healthcare experience is beneficial but not essential. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, curiosity, confidence and the ability to build meaningful professional relationships.
Salary, Commission & Benefits
- Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per annum depending on experience.

Working Arrangement & Flexibility
This position will initially be office-based to provide full training, support and understanding of Knowlex, our events, healthcare network and internal processes.
Following successful completion of the initial onboarding period and once established within the role, there will be an opportunity to move towards a flexible hybrid working arrangement combining office and remote working.
