Part-Time Learning & Development Facilitator

We are looking for a Part-Time Learning & Development Facilitator to join a well-established and growing group of care agencies across Cornwall and Devon. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the development of over 75 staff members, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to deliver outstanding care.
The role can be based in Exmouth or Launceston, with flexibility to adapt the location for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing
Working Closely With The Training Manager, You Will
- Deliver mandatory and core training programmes to care staff.
- Support the assessment of Care Certificates.
- Deliver one-to-one and group learning sessions tailored to individual needs.
- Assist in developing and updating training materials in line with best practice.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Record training outcomes and maintain accurate training records and matrices.
- Provide constructive feedback and issue training certificates.
- Support staff undertaking Diploma qualifications by liaising with assessors.
- Deputise for the Training Manager when required.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to ongoing service improvement.
- Complete one double-handed care shift every three months to maintain practical knowledge and skills.

What we're looking for
Essential
- Experience working within the Health and Social Care sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable approach.
- Good IT skills.
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent).
- Current First Aid and Moving & Handling trainer qualifications. xlqdzyr
- Full UK driving licence.
