Job Description

Healthcare Recruiter

Location: Richmond Head Office

Position Type: Full time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Preferred Start Time: Early start

Paragon Home Healthcare is looking for a proactive, organised and commercially minded Healthcare Recruiter to join our Richmond Head Office team.

This is a hands-on recruitment role for someone who enjoys sourcing candidates, making calls, moving quickly, managing a live pipeline and turning recruitment activity into real staffing outcomes.

We are not looking for someone who only waits for applications to come in. We need someone who is confident proactively searching for candidates, re-engaging previous applicants, screening quickly and keeping people moving through interview, compliance, training and readiness to work.

About Paragon

Our care teams are carefully recruited, trained and supported by our Recruitment, Coordination, Care Management and Clinical teams. Safe recruitment, warm candidate communication and strong judgement are essential to the way we work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Role

You will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, screening, interviewing and progressing high-quality care staff in line with live client needs, rota risk and priority vacancies.

You will work closely with Coordination, Care Management and Clinical colleagues to understand where staff are needed, what each client requires and whether candidates are genuinely suitable for the role, location, shift pattern and package.

Success in this role is not just about applicant numbers. It is about suitable candidates being progressed quickly and safely through screening, interview, compliance, training readiness and into work.

  • Reviewing applications quickly and contacting suitable candidates promptly
  • Making outbound calls to candidates and keeping them engaged
  • Screening candidates for experience, availability, location, travel, shift pattern, right to work and suitability
  • Managing candidates through interview, onboarding, compliance and training readiness
  • Re-engaging previous, dormant or stalled candidates who may be suitable for current vacancies
  • Keeping every active candidate clear on their next step
  • Maintaining accurate records in TeamTailor and other recruitment/compliance systems
  • Working closely with operational colleagues to understand priority vacancies and rota risk
  • Escalating early where candidate flow, quality or conversion is not strong enough
