Role Description
This full-time, on-site Healthcare Support Worker role is based in Beverley and involves providing practical and emotional support to individuals in their daily activities.

Responsibilities

- Assisting with personal care, mobility, and meal preparation
- Promoting independence and dignity
- Monitoring and recording changes in service users’ wellbeing
- Following care plans and reporting concerns to senior staff
- Supporting social activities
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and healthcare professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality care
Qualifications
- Experience working as a Support Worker or in a similar direct care role, with an understanding of person-centered care
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust, listen effectively, and interact respectfully with service users, families, and colleagues
- Knowledge of Safeguarding principles and procedures, with a commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals and maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to provide basic Technical Support related to electronic care records or healthcare-related systems used in daily practice
- Relevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care) or willingness to work towards them
- Basic knowledge of health, wellness, and fitness principles is beneficial
- Reliability, flexibility to work various shifts, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
