Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker - HMP Humber
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and proactive individual to join our healthcare team at HMP Humber.
This diverse team includes experienced professionals such as:
- Nurses
- Paramedics
- Clinical support workers
- Pharmacy technicians
- Pharmacists
- Physiotherapists
- Administration support workers (and more)
About This Role
You’ll be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, using your skills and expertise to:
- Deliver compassionate care to service users with complex needs
- Help shape and develop the service alongside colleagues
- Contribute to a team passionate about making a difference
The role offers:

Key Responsibilities
Direct Patient Care
- Assist with medication administration
- Conduct clinical support interventions, including:
- NHS health checks
- Phlebotomy
- ECG monitoring
- QOF-related patient reviews
- Support registered nurses in delivering emergency healthcare
- Assess and review patients’ needs
