Maintain professional and courteous working relationships with staff, patients, and families, and respect the equality and diversity of each and every person they come into contact with.
Uphold the privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of the client group and respect equality and diversity of everyone at all times.
Work collaboratively with others in the care setting to ensure that patients’ needs are met.
- Taking Blood pressure
- Blood glucose monitoring.
- Venepuncture.
- Patient observations including, oxygen saturations, heart rate, respirations.
- Swabbing to include MRSA
- Obtain samples including urine dip, from a catheter, MSU.
- ECG recording.
- Undertaking quality assurance checks of machines used for point of care testing.

- Central Middlesex Hospital: our planned care site, hosting a range of surgical and outpatient services and collocated with an urgent care centre.
