Templer Ward
Templer Ward is a 30-bedded inpatient ward within Newton Abbot Community Hospital. 20 beds provide care to specialist stroke and neuro rehabilitation patients following treatment in an acute hospital setting. The other 10 beds are for patients requiring general medical care and rehabilitation.
Joining Our Team
Joining our team on a permanent full-time contract, you will be working within a proactive multidisciplinary team to encourage patients to reach the maximum rehabilitation potential to enable safe discharge from hospital.

Role Overview
We are looking for a caring and compassionate person who is able to work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high standard of individualized nursing care to our patients.
- You will need excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently, prioritizing your workload to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- You will ensure that your own actions support the care, protection, and well-being of individuals, and ensure their privacy and dignity at all times.
- You will need to be flexible as this is a rotational post which includes days, nights, and weekend working.
