Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum (depending on experience) with commission opportunities. Hours: Full-time (Mon–Fri) working across our practices in Cumbria at the following locations; Carnforth, Kirkby Stephen, Grange over sands, Appleby in Westmorland Environment: Friendly, supportive, and people-focused Impact: Be part of something meaningful — improving lives through better hearing About the Role As a Hearing Care Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of our practice, supporting private hearing services with a balance of clinical excellence and operational flair. Clinical Duties Carry out otoscopy and Tympa-based assessments Deliver Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA) screenings Conduct hearing aid reviews and routine maintenance Perform ear wax removal (microsuction, irrigation & manual) Take aural impressions Support patients with empathy and clear communication Work under the guidance of an HCPC-registered Hearing Aid Dispenser Practice Engagement & Development Assist with team training and cross-referrals Build partnerships with local GPs, pharmacies & communities Help manage appointment scheduling to maximise the HAD’s time Operational Responsibilities Maintain high standards in line with healthcare regulations Ensure Health & Safety compliance Represent THCP with professionalism in both appearance and conduct What You’ll Need Qualified Hearing Care Assistant Previous experience working in a customer facing environment and in a healthcare setting GCSEs in English, Maths and Science (grade C or higher) A full UK driving license and the ability to travel between locations Eligibility to work in the UK, and availability for the specified days If you're ready to elevate patient care while enjoying a flexible, fulfilling role, apply today and become a vital part of our team!
