Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Heating and Air Conditioning Engineer at Elite Services Group Ltd. The engineer will design, install, and commission HVAC systems for domestic and commercial properties, with a strong emphasis on energy efficiency and low-carbon technologies.

Responsibilities

- Assessing site and customer requirements
- Preparing technical layouts and specifications
- Coordinating with plumbing and electrical teams
- Ensuring systems comply with relevant standards and regulations
- Diagnosing issues
- Performing maintenance and repair on existing HVAC installations
- Providing clear guidance to customers on optimal system use and energy-saving practices
- Collaborating with colleagues on continuous improvement of renewable heating solutions
- Contributing technical input to project planning and delivery
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in HVAC Engineering and general HVAC system knowledge, including heating, cooling, and ventilation solutions.
- Experience with HVAC Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to develop accurate system layouts and technical documentation.
- Strong Maintenance & Repair skills for diagnosing faults, performing corrective actions, and conducting routine servicing of HVAC equipment.
- Sound understanding of renewable and low-carbon technologies (e.g., air source heat pumps, solar thermal, energy-efficient controls).
- Knowledge of relevant building regulations, industry standards, and health and safety practices in mechanical and electrical services.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage workload across multiple projects, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Vocational qualifications or certification in HVAC, mechanical engineering, or a related field; professional accreditation or registration is an advantage.
- Previous experience in domestic and/or commercial HVAC projects in the UK, particularly within renewable energy or decarbonization initiatives, is highly beneficial.
