About the Company
Join a Trusted and Growing Engineering Team. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HVAC / Refrigeration Engineer to join our friendly and professional team in the West Midlands. This full-time role offers a diverse workload across a broad portfolio of clients, including industrial refrigeration plants, high-end residential developments, trainline facilities, and prestigious hotels.
About the Role
Working under the guidance of the Service Supervisor and Directors, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial, domestic, and industrial sites. While most work is West Midlands-based, you will occasionally travel nationally to support key accounts and project work.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and (occasionally) install and commission:
- Chilled water systems
- Gas-fired heating plant
- DX systems (VRV, splits, multi-splits)
- Industrial and commercial refrigeration systems (chillers, freezers, condensers)
- Water heaters + boilers/heating systems
- Occasionally working in an engineering environment (industrial)
- Conduct reactive repairs and troubleshooting on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Undertake routine inspections and identify performance or safety issues
- Collaborate with colleagues on complex system issues and large installations
- Work remotely and independently while maintaining strong communication with the team

Qualifications
- Experience across HVAC and refrigeration disciplines
- Gas Safe certification preferred
Required Skills
- Strong fault-finding skills and technical knowledge
- Comfortable working on high-end sites including hotels and residential developments
- A collaborative team player who can also operate independently
- A full UK driving licence

Pay range and compensation package
- Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
