Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Heating and Plumbing Engineer at Wise Energy Solutions Ltd. The engineer will carry out the installation of energy-efficient heating and plumbing systems in residential properties, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices. The role involves providing remote technical support, troubleshooting issues, and advising customers and colleagues on system performance and energy-saving measures. The engineer will also contribute to project planning, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of installation standards and processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong practical skills in plumbing, including installation, maintenance, and fault-finding in domestic systems.
  • Knowledge of plumbing design and building services, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with water supply systems, including pressure management, pipework layout, and system safety.
  • Understanding of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination within residential building projects.
  • Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in plumbing/heating engineering; professional certifications or registration (e.g., Gas Safe) are an advantage.
  • Familiarity with energy-efficient heating technologies and UK regulations related to ECO and home energy improvements.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to health and safety standards.
