Plumbing & Heating Engineer – Gas Boilers & Heat Pumps

📍 Location: Bristol & Surrounding Areas

🕒 Full-Time | Permanent

💰 Salary: Competitive (based on experience) + Company Van + Fuel Card + Benefits

About Us:

C Brookes Plumbing, Heating & Renewables is seeking a motivated and skilled Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our growing team. We work across Bristol and the surrounding areas, delivering high-quality domestic and light commercial installations, with a focus on gas boilers and renewable heating systems, including air source, ground source and exhaust air heat pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, servicing, and maintenance of gas boilers and air source, ground source and exhaust air heat pumps.
  • System diagnostics and fault-finding.
  • Ensuring all work meets the latest standards and complies with current regulations.
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Accurately completing job sheets, certificates, and compliance documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent).
  • Gas Safe registration and ACS qualifications preferred, but not essential – we are happy to support the right candidate in gaining these.
  • Experience with heat pump installations (air source, ground source or exhaust air) is a plus – training can be provided if needed.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic heating systems and controls.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • A proactive, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
