Job Title: Heating Engineer (Gas & Oil)

Location: Malton, North Yorkshire

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum + Overtime + Company Van

Hours: Full time, permanent. 40 hours per week plus weekend rota.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Heating Engineer looking for a more organised, stable and well supported role.

We’re working with a well established and reputable business in Malton, known for delivering high quality installation, servicing and maintenance work. With a strong and consistent pipeline, they are continuing to grow and are now looking to add to their engineering team.

The role offers a well planned workload, sensible scheduling and the backing of a supportive office team; allowing you to focus on doing the job properly without unnecessary disruption. You’ll be joining a business that values its engineers, takes pride in its standards and offers genuine long term stability.

Key Responsibilities Of Heating Engineer

Carry out installation, servicing and maintenance of heating systems including gas, oil (essential) and LPG appliances (desirable). Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to customers. Deliver both planned maintenance and reactive works to a high standard. Ensure all work is completed in line with current health and safety regulations and industry standards. Maintain accurate job records and compliance documentation.

Experience As Heating Engineer Required

Proven experience working as a Heating Engineer Gas & Oil qualification required and LPG is desirable (Gas Safe registered preferred). Full UK Driving Licence. Strong fault finding and problem solving skills. Good communication skills with a customer focused approach.

You’ll receive a competitive salary of £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience, along with the opportunity to increase your earnings through overtime. A company van is provided to support your day to day work and you’ll benefit from a generous staff discount scheme alongside additional company perks.
