Role Description
This full-time remote Heating Engineer role focuses on the installation, servicing, and maintenance of heating systems for domestic and commercial properties. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing faults in central heating and LPG systems, carrying out routine inspections, and ensuring all work meets safety, efficiency, and regulatory standards. The Heating Engineer will collaborate with colleagues on renewable energy and low-carbon heating projects, coordinate with plumbing and electrical teams as needed, and maintain accurate records of all work completed. The role also involves communicating clearly with customers, providing professional advice on system use and energy efficiency, and supporting Elite Services Group’s commitment to excellent customer service and environmentally conscious solutions.

- Candidates should possess strong skills in central heating systems, including installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Candidates should possess heat pump-related skills, including safe handling, installation, maintenance, and certification to work on air source appliances where required.
- Candidates should possess plumbing skills, including pipework, fittings, system connectivity, and integration with heating and renewable energy solutions.
- Candidates should possess building maintenance skills, including basic repairs, system checks, and coordination of heating work within broader property maintenance activities.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and the ability to explain technical issues and solutions in accessible terms.
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or equivalent in Plumbing and Heating, Gas Safe or LPG certification, and experience with renewable or low-carbon heating technologies are beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote capacity, manage time effectively, and use digital tools for scheduling, reporting, and communication is required.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, along with a strong focus on health and safety, are advantageous.
