Heavy Plant Engineer

Cambridge

£45k - £55k + OT (OTE £65k - £75k) + Van + D2D

Are you an experienced Crushing & Screening Engineer looking to join a market-leading organisation that genuinely values its engineers?

NEOS Engineering Recruitment are working with a well-established business within the crushing, screening and recycling sector who are looking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover Cambridgeshire and the surrounding region.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working on a variety of crushing and screening equipment across customer sites.

The Role

  • Service, maintain and repair crushing and screening equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
  • Carry out planned servicing, preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs.
  • Commission new machinery and carry out machine inspections where required.
  • Complete service reports and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Cover Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas with occasional UK travel.

The Candidate

  • Previous experience working on crushing and screening equipment.
  • Experience with manufacturers such as Powerscreen, Terex Finlay, Metso, Sandvik, McCloskey, Kleemann, Tesab, Keestrack, Anaconda or similar would be advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

The Package

  • £45,000 - £55,000 basic salary.
