Portfolio Manager – Bridging Finance & Specialist Mortgages
£55,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Hybrid Working
A leading specialist lender is looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join its Bridging Finance and Specialist Mortgages team.
You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of bridging and specialist mortgage facilities, including light, medium, and heavy refurbishment projects, ensuring strong portfolio performance, effective risk management, and an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor a portfolio of bridging, specialist mortgage, and heavy refurbishment finance facilities.
- Oversee loan expiries, extensions, construction milestones, drawdowns, and redemptions.
- Conduct cashflow analysis and identify potential risks or material variances.
- Prepare credit papers and recommendations for facility amendments.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with lending policies and procedures.
- Produce portfolio reporting and management information.
- Work closely with Lending, Underwriting, Risk, and Compliance teams.

About You
- Experience within bridging finance, development finance, specialist mortgages, or property lending.
- Strong understanding of bridging finance and refurbishment lending, including heavy refurb projects.
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and risk awareness.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Phoebus, Keystone, or Tableau would be advantageous.
