Heavy Vehicle Fitter (Mobile) – Applications Wanted

- Working independently while following strict safety procedures
- Key duties include:
- Carrying out scheduled maintenance on locomotives and rolling stock
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
- Testing equipment and components to ensure they meet operational standards
- Completing maintenance documentation accurately
- Adhering to risk assessments, method statements, and company safety guidelines
- Maintaining clean and safe working environments
You’ll report to either a Team Leader or Production Manager but must also be capable of carrying out maintenance unsupervised.

Essential requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance, or Rail Engineering)
- A full UK driving licence (the role is mobile; travel between sites is required)
