Interested parties must have a financial services background and ideally a hedge fund or alternative asset management profile.
Core Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Direct the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Prepare consolidated financial statements under standard frameworks (e.g., IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP).
- Fund & Corporate Accounting: Manage accounting for both the fund entities and the management/advisory company entities.
- Compliance & Regulation: Lead preparation of regulatory returns. Ensure compliance with financial authorities, FCA
- Audits: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise the finance and accounts team. Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Process Improvement: Strengthen internal controls and upgrade finance systems to drive automation and efficiency.

- Education: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Experience: Extensive post-qualification experience working in a financial services firm or fund administration.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of hedge fund structures (e.g., master-feeder funds). Mastery of valuation principles and multi-currency reporting.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong leadership, and the ability to present complex financial data to senior executives and board members.
