Hedge Fund Operations Analyst
Trade Operations Analyst
Location
London (4 days per week in the office)
Overview
A leading multi-strategy investment firm is seeking a Trade Operations Analyst to support its liquid strategies business. The role offers broad exposure across Equities, Fixed Income, Repos, and OTC products, with a strong focus on Corporate Actions, Asset Servicing, and end-to-end trade support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full trade lifecycle from T0 through settlement
- Support trading activity across:
- Equities
- Fixed Income
- Repos
- OTC products
- Ownership of Corporate Actions processing and oversight
- Ensuring regulatory reporting
- Monitoring and investigating cash and position reconciliations
- Resolving trade breaks and settlement issues with brokers, custodians, and counterparties
- Partnering with Front Office, Compliance, Finance, and external service providers
- Contributing to process improvement, automation, and AI-driven operational initiatives

Requirements & Experience
- 4–6 years' experience within Trade Operations / Middle Office
- Strong understanding of:
- Trade lifecycle management
- Cash reconciliations
- Position reconciliations
- Settlements
- Corporate Actions
- Regulatory reporting
- Hands-on Geneva experience is essential
- Experience supporting multi-asset products, including:
- Equities
- Fixed Income
- Repos
- OTC instruments

Preferences/candidates:
- Buy-side experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional sell-side candidates with relevant product and operational experience will also be considered
- Interest in technology, automation, and AI-enabled operational efficiencies
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong Corporate Actions background
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced hedge fund or asset management environment
- Broad operational exposure rather than a siloed function
- Ability to understand and investigate cash and position movements independently
- Experience using Geneva as a core portfolio accounting and operations platform
