Help Desk Technical Engineer – Bracknell

Based in Bracknell, this role in a busy and growing team is ideal for an organised, reliable professional ready to handle customer queries and technical issues efficiently.
About the Role
- First-line technical support role with a focus on customer service
- Resolve basic technical issues, manage service requests, and coordinate ticket resolution
- Work with Windows operating systems and remote connection tools
- Balance independent problem-solving with collaborative teamwork
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support and first point of contact for all incoming requests
- Troubleshoot technical issues using Windows OS and remote support tools
- Log, prioritise, and manage service tickets while adhering to response time targets
- Communicate progress updates to customers and internal teams
- Escalate complex issues to senior support or engineering teams as needed
- Coordinate day-to-day technical and non-technical support tasks across departments
- Collaborate on process improvements and keep abreast of technical trends via training

Requirements
- Experience in a support, helpdesk, or coordination role (preferably non-IT focussed)
- Strong background in facilities, fire & security, or mechanical support is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with clients, both remote and in-person
- Ability to prioritise workloads while maintaining high customer service standards
- Basic technical knowledge (helpful if familiar with Windows operating systems and remote troubleshooting) -ocode for service level agreements or response time targets
- Self-motivated and proactive problem-solver
- Confident working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment

Salary & Working Terms
- £32,000 – £37,000 per year
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
