Role Description
The Helpdesk Analyst is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users by resolving hardware, software, and system-related issues. This role involves responding to support requests, diagnosing technical problems, documenting incidents, and ensuring timely resolution to maintain efficient business operations.
The Helpdesk Analyst works closely with IT teams and end users to deliver effective technical support, maintain service quality, and improve user satisfaction. Responsibilities include:
- Managing support tickets
- Configuring user accounts
- Installing and maintaining software and hardware
- Escalating complex issues when necessary
- Maintaining accurate documentation of support activities

Qualifications
- Strong understanding of IT support principles, helpdesk operations, and technical troubleshooting methodologies.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Familiarity with operating systems, desktop applications, user account management, and IT infrastructure concepts.
- Ability to manage support tickets, prioritize requests, and meet service level objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to document incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures accurately.
- Understanding of IT service management principles and support processes.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote support tools, and knowledge management platforms.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to assist technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple support requests simultaneously.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality technical support and continuously improving user experience.
