Hospitality Software Support
Hops is looking for a Helpdesk & Training Specialist to support and train customers using our hospitality software platform.
This role would suit someone from a hospitality background who is technically confident, patient with people, and ready to move away from the day-to-day pressure of service while still using their industry knowledge.
You may have worked with EPOS, stock control, purchasing, inventory, recipes, suppliers, or hospitality back-office systems. You do not need to be a developer, but you should be comfortable learning software, investigating issues, and explaining things clearly to customers.
The role is focused on helping customers get the best from Hops. You will handle support queries through our helpdesk, speak directly with customers, deliver training, create helpful documentation, and work with our internal team to spot recurring issues or improvement opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
