Role Overview

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Specify, design, and integrate electrical and electronic systems, harnesses, and components in line with current documentation and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve electrical sensor and hardware issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Work closely with Chassis and PU teams to integrate systems, produce accurate documentation, and support workflow approvals and sign-offs.
  • Drive design process improvements, reliability projects, and maintain high standards for drawings and departmental codes of practice.
  • Ensure accurate Epicor and TLS transactions, adherence to health and safety guidelines, and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace, demonstrate flexibility in attendance, and promote a positive image for the team and partners.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ability to specify and design reliable electrical systems and components, including accurate CAD routing for robust installations.
  • Skilled in investigating and resolving electronic faults promptly, ensuring thorough documentation and timely closure of actions.
  • Strong focus on maintaining design documentation, checking drawings against standards, and ensuring compliance with established processes.
  • Effective in scoping design tasks, managing priorities through team planning tools, and meeting deadlines with clear communication.
  • Demonstrates strong teamwork across departments and excellent verbal and written communication skills to support project delivery.
