Summary of Vacancy
Are you an experienced or newly qualified HGV Class 2 Driver Loader ready for a hands-on role that keeps you active, valued, and rewarded?
Join SUEZ and play a key role in delivering essential waste and recycling services across Yeovil. This role requires you to regularly get out of the vehicle and support with loading up to 150 times or more each day, making a real impact in your local community every day.
About The Role
You will be based at our Williton Depot - Roughmoor Williton Industrial Estate, Williton, Taunton, TA4 4RF
You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 06:15 - 14:45
£5000 welcome bonus (subject to T&C's)
You will be earning a salary of £36,733.94
You’ll be required to work the Saturday following a bank holiday to catch up.
Overtime Rates
- 1.5x pay Monday – Friday (after 40 hours)
- 1.5x pay on Saturday
- 2x pay on Bank Holidays, plus a day in lieu

You will be responsible for both driving the vehicle and supporting with the loading of household waste and recycling, working as part of a team to complete daily collections efficiently.
- Delivering a reliable, high-quality service to residents
- Always working to strict health & safety standards
- You’ll primarily operate RCVs (Refuse Collection Vehicles) + Recycling Vehicles as required giving you variety in your day-to-day work.
What Are The Requirements?
- Class 2 (Category C) licence, valid CPC card and Tachograph card
- Newly qualified drivers welcome, as well as experienced drivers
- A reliable, safety-focused attitude with good communication skills
- A team player with a strong work ethic
- Waste or RCV experience is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
