Are you an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver looking to work just a few days a week, weekends only? Or are you retired and want to get out of the house for a few days peace and quiet?!
At Jack Richards our Casual Drivers are offered flexibility of shifts based on availability without the need of having a set contracted amount of hours. Please call to discuss if we can fit in with your work/life balance.
Most shift patterns considered covering Days, Nights or Tramping

We will only consider applications from Drivers with at least 12 months’ Commercial Class 1 (C+E) Driving experience

You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence, hold a UK digital tachograph card and a full DQC (CPC card)
Rates
Days & Trampers
- £15.30 per hour (Weekdays)
- £16.20 per hour (Weekday Overtime Rate after 10 hours worked)
- £16.90 per hour (Saturday)
- £17.15 per hour (Sunday)
- £26.20 per Night Out (Tax Free)
- up to £10 Meal Allowance Saturday (Tax Free)
Nights
- £151.75 per 10 hour shift (Weeknights)
- £17.55 per hour (Weekday Overtime Rate after 10 hours worked)
- £183.50 per 10 hour shift (Saturday Night)
- £163.50 per 10 hour shift (Sunday Night)
- up to £5 Meal Allowance (Tax Free)
