To support customer demand, we are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Heywood depot.

Shift Available

4 on 4 off working on days (Some early starts around 03:00-07:00)

Rate Of Pay

£15.61 per hour for hours worked up to 39 hours each week. Plus £40.00 per week shift allowance. Paid weekly.

Any hours worked over 39 hours each week, will be paid at time and a half.

Duties And Responsibilities

Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations) Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot

What are we looking for?

Someone with a C+E driving licence, a valid in date DigiTacho and CPC Previous Class 1 driving experience Someone who can lift up to 18kg You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English
