HGV Class 1 Driver
HGV Class 1 Driver – Application Now Open
We are hiring a qualified HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team following a fellow colleague's retirement.
About the Role
Provide reliable flatbed lorry haulage services, primarily delivering straw to power plants and undertaking general haulage work. Duties include:
- Operating flatbed lorries with high safety and efficiency
- Completing pre- and post-trip inspections
- Safely loading, securing, and unloading all cargo
- Planning the most optimized delivery routes
- Keeping detailed delivery and maintenance records
- Adhering to safety regulations at all times
- Assisting with loading and unloading tasks

Requirements
To apply, you must hold:
- A valid Class 1 HGV licence
- CPC certification
- Proven experience as an HGV driver
- Strong knowledge of road safety laws
